Job Title: EP Lab Tech Profession: EP Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Not specified Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: 1 year of cath lab or electrophysiology scrub experience Description: CONTRACT - EP LAB TECH - 13 WEEKS - 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM day shift. Special requirements: CATH LAB AND/OR EP LAB TECH. The purpose of this position is to assist in providing exceptional patient care in an electrophysiology lab. The unit features 6 electrophysiology labs. There are 28 staff members, including nurses, scrub techs, and lab staff. Staffing includes 1 charge nurse and three patient care technicians. There are no night shifts or call requirements for this position. Patient ratios are consistent with standard practice. The equipment used includes electrophysiology mapping systems such as Carto, Abbott, Boston Scientific, Medtronic, and associated devices. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. Permanent positions are available within the unit. Ideal candidates will be flexible and adaptable to changing tasks. Cohesiveness with teammates is crucial for success in this role. Dress code requires scrubs in blue, which are provided by the facility. Typical procedures performed include: - Ablations - Device implants - Device extractions - Structural heart procedures Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for this role. Those with more than 1 year of scrub experience in cath labs or EP labs will be prioritized.
