About the Position

Job Title: EP Lab Tech Profession: EP Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: RCIS, RCES, ARRT Certifications: Required Certifications Must-Have: 1 Year of cath lab or electrophysiology scrub experience Description: This position is for a contract EP Lab Tech. The assignment duration is 13 weeks. The shift is from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must hold certifications in RCIS, RCES, and ARRT. The unit consists of 6 EP labs with a staff of 28, including nurses and scrub techs. There are 18 lab staff on the day shift and one charge nurse. No call requirements and no weekend shifts are involved. The typical procedures performed in the unit include ablations, device implants, device extractions, and structural heart procedures. The role requires flexibility with changes in day-to-day tasks and the ability to work cohesively with teammates. The dress code mandates blue scrubs, which will be provided by the facility. This unit offers opportunities for permanent positions. Candidates with more than 1 year of scrub experience in cath lab or EP lab will be preferred.
