Seeking a Litigation Associate with 3+ years of civil litigation experience to handle construction defect matters and manage complex cases within a collaborative, growth-oriented practice.

We are seeking a Litigation Associate with 3+ years of civil litigation experience to join a growing litigation practice in Orlando and Jacksonville, Florida. The attorney will handle matters involving construction defects, with prior construction defect experience strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Handle litigation matters involving construction defect claims.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, legal briefs, and memoranda.
• Represent clients in depositions, court proceedings, and arbitrations.
• Prepare persuasive legal arguments and written work product.
• Manage multiple cases and claims simultaneously.
• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other parties.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff throughout the litigation process.
• Maintain organized case files and meet all deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar admission in good standing.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Construction defect experience strongly preferred, but general civil litigation experience will be considered.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and legal briefs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
