ROLE ROADMAP

The web is one of the most important places Kalshi’s brand comes to life. As we grow, launch new products and partnerships, and show up around increasingly ambitious cultural moments, we need our web presence to move just as quickly and feel unmistakably Kalshi. This role will own Kalshi’s brand expression on the web. You’ll design everything from core brand and marketing pages to campaign launches, partnership pages, policy and editorial experiences, and one-off digital moments. You’ll work closely with Brand and Engineering to take projects from idea through launch while building reusable systems that make our web presence faster, more consistent, and more ambitious over time. This is a role for a strong brand designer who specializes in digital, not a traditional product designer. You should care deeply about typography, layout, interaction, motion, and the details that turn a website into a memorable brand experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the design of Kalshi’s brand and marketing web presence from concept through launch
• Design highly crafted brand pages, campaign landing pages, partnership pages, policy and editorial pages, and one-off digital experiences
• Translate Kalshi’s brand into compelling digital experiences rather than simply placing brand assets into templates
• Partner directly with engineers to bring designs to life and maintain a high bar for quality through implementation
• Create responsive experiences that work beautifully across devices and screen sizes
• Prototype interactions, motion, and new ideas for how Kalshi can show up on the web
• Build and evolve reusable components, patterns, and systems that improve consistency and speed across Kalshi’s web properties
• Conduct design QA and obsess over the details between design and production
• Move quickly on one-off launches while thinking systematically about what should become reusable
• Help define and evolve Kalshi’s visual and interaction language on the web
• Collaborate with Brand, Engineering, Product, Growth, and other teams on major launches and company moments

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5-7 years of experience in web, digital, or brand design
• A strong portfolio of highly crafted web and digital work
• Exceptional typography, layout, hierarchy, and visual design instincts
• Strong brand instincts and an ability to translate a visual identity into a distinctive digital experience
• Excellent Figma skills
• Deep understanding of responsive web design and how designs translate into production
• Strong interaction and motion design instincts
• Ability to move quickly on one-off projects while also thinking in systems
• High attention to detail and a strong bar for craft
• Ability to independently own projects without significant day-to-day direction
• Comfort working directly with engineers from early exploration through launch
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and a fast-moving environment
• Excitement about owning a space and proactively making it better rather than waiting for tightly defined briefs

BONUS

• Experience designing digital experiences for highly recognizable consumer brands
• Experience at a high-growth startup or similarly fast-moving environment
• Experience building or evolving web design systems and reusable component libraries
• Strong prototyping skills and experience exploring interaction and motion concepts
• Experience working closely with front-end engineers and understanding the possibilities and constraints of the web
• Experience designing editorial, data-driven, or content-heavy digital experiences
• Experience creating ambitious campaign sites, launches, or interactive brand moments
• Familiarity with fintech, trading, consumer internet products, sports, culture, or other areas where Kalshi operates

NYC PAY TRANSPARENCY DISCLOSURE

Salary Range: $115,000 to $180,000 annually plus equity and benefits. This salary range is based on the current available market data, and represents the expected salary range for this role. Kalshi has minimal hierarchy and few titles, but has broad ranges of experience represented within roles.
