QA Automation Manager

Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on QA Automation Lead to establish and lead a talented team of quality engineers responsible for delivering high-impact automation frameworks, performance benchmarking, and test governance. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping QA strategy from the ground up while ensuring delivery quality from the very first sprint. The role requires technical expertise in automation and performance testing, strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to guide best practices in agile environments. The successful candidate will bring both leadership and technical execution to help deliver reliable and scalable solutions. This exciting opportunity is remote (2-3 annual trips to Georgia) and offers the chance to build and lead a high-performance QA function while staying hands-on with automation, performance testing, and governance. Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Perks Inclusive and collaborative workplace that values innovation and teamwork Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Generous paid time off, holidays, and wellness support Career development opportunities, training, and certification support Responsibilities Build and lead a QA team focused on automation, performance testing, and test governance Define and drive automation strategies for UI and API testing, ensuring scalable and reusable frameworks Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and partner with development teams to promote shift-left testing practices Lead performance and load testing efforts to benchmark APIs, applications, and front-end performance Ensure proper QA documentation, test plans, defect traceability, and audit-ready artifacts Promote QA best practices, sprint participation, and cross-team collaboration to ensure product quality Qualifications Expertise with UI and API automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Postman, or Karate Must have at least 6+ years of QA and 2+ years as a Lead Hands-on experience with load and performance testing (JMeter preferred) Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and tools like Postman & Karate Experience in test design patterns, test data management and script modularization Skilled in CI/CD pipeline integration (e.g., Jenkins) and automation strategy Proven ability to manage QA projects and mentor engineers while remaining hands-on technically Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with cross-functional teams Compensation and Benefits This opportunity offers a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, wellness support, and opportunities for professional growth.
