About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 or 26 weeks contract option Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a large, urban hospital License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS strongly preferred Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience required - Must be prepared to float frequently to meet the staffing needs Description: Full-time Registered Nurse position in the Float Pool. RNs will float to cover various units as needed. The facility will assign travelers to units based on experience. Flexibility in scheduling is required, with potential float to alternate campuses. Candidates must have experience with drips on all floors. Travelers may be assigned to units including stepdown, observation, and MS/Tele beds. Weekends will require 4 shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period. Holiday requirements include working 2 out of 3 major holidays. 100% nicotine-free facility. Candidates must submit requests for time off with their application. Additional requests for time off may be considered at manager's discretion. Travelers must work with medical or religious exemptions for COVID-19 vaccine. Scrubs are mandatory with specific color and branding requirements. Facilities include teams of support staff for comprehensive patient care. Assessments will focus on adults and geriatric patient populations. Critical care skill sets and experience in various procedures are essential. All contracts will conclude on Sundays to align work weeks. Candidates must be more than 100 miles from the facility for consideration. First-time travelers will not be accepted; 2 years of relevant experience required. Management of cardiac drips and telemetry required with expertise in pacing and response teams.
