Position #28290 3 rd ShiftQuality Assurance Technician CLASSIFICATION:3-7seePhysical Abilities Evaluation Form HOURS: 8:45p.m. - 5:15a.m. (Sun-Thurs) WAGE: $24.64per hour JOB SUMMARY Ensure that productsproduced,in your area ofresponsibilityarein accordance withestablished QA guidelines. JOB DUTIES Batter tests. Product temperature checks (frozen/ fully cooked). Box counts/ Portion weight checks. Boneless product inspection. Hold/ releaserecord keeping. Research data for customer complaints. Sample collection forbacti/ prep and fat and moisture. Returned product inspection/ paperwork. FFA test on oils. Cooler checks. Assistwith receivinginspection. Tolerant of extended periods of time standing,walking& variationin environment (temperatures, humidity, flour, etc.). Bug light checks(weekly). Rodent trap checks (inside/outside) (monthly). Thermometer calibrations. Sanitation inspections (inside/ outside). Mid-shift swabs (asrequested). Verify monitor tests to satisfy HACCP/SQF. Perform other duties as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS Exposure to varying temperatures from warm to cold, some heavy lifting, dust, noise, slippery floors. Wearappropriate PPEand other equipment as necessary orrequired. QUALIFICATIONS Highschool diploma or equivalent.Mustpasscompanymath test. Computer knowledge and the ability to work well with other departmentsisessential. Selfmotivated,quality minded,reliable individual. Must be able to work with little supervision. Ability to useRadio/phone system. Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs, up to 8 hours per day. Must be able to work with and handle confidential information. Must meet the physical abilities evaluation for this position. Must successfully complete all required training.
