QA/QC Technician

Requisition Number: 30285 Company: WECTEC Staffing Svcs LLC Location: Madison, US Opportunity Overview Quality Control/Quality Assurance Technician - CONTRACT for 2026 Outage Work. Westinghouse/WECTEC Staffing has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control/Quality Assurance Technician to support outage work for 2026 outages at nuclear sites. This is seasonal/short-term work for the duration of the outage only. Could potentially lead to future outage assignments based on performance. Your Day-to-Day Work with blueprints, sketches, production diagrams, and engineering drawings to determine critical quality characteristics and the inspection methodology to validate critical to qualify characteristics of components. Use inspection tools and gages including calipers, micrometers, and other testing equipment used in the fabrication, welding, and machining of materials to determine if components meet quality specifications. Monitor product quality Inspection of materials, components, and assemblies to ensure compliance to specifications and industry standards. Identify and contain non-conforming material. Quarantine and document all non-conforming materials based on procedures. Provide guidance for project quality concerns. Maintain regulatory compliance for inspection requirements, documentation, and traceability in a regulated industry. Identify potential errors and support document control and procedure change requests. Who You Are High School Diploma or equivalent required. 3 years of experience in a quality inspection role in a related industry required 5 years of experience in a quality inspection role supporting a machining and welding operation in a regulated environment. Understanding of ASME Codes, 10CFR50, NQA-1, and ANSI.
