Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Previous experience in pediatric and/or school-based SLP settings
- Strong assessment and intervention skills for a variety of pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapeutic goals
- Perform comprehensive assessments and keep accurate documentation of progress and interventions
- Work closely with educators, administrators, and families to support student achievement
- Provide training and consultation to staff regarding speech and language strategies within the classroom
