The Associate Respiratory Therapist is expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary Respiratory Therapy principles. The Associate Respiratory Therapist should be a solid performer who is fully competent in all aspects of his/her job description. He/she is expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures. The Respiratory Therapist possesses all of the core skills of the Associate level Respiratory Therapist. He/She will collaborate with Physicians and Nurses in planning and implementing the patient plan of care. Associate Respiratory Care Practitioner Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy or Bachelor's Degree in AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy. Upon hire: Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner License. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. CRT with less than 5 years' experience, must obtain RRT within 6 months of hire; Or 5 years CRT and no RRT requirement.
