Position is contingent on award. Position Summary Lead maritime maintenance operations supporting craft, jet skis, trailers, and related propulsion systems while serving as the senior mechanic/working supervisor at the site. Key Responsibilities Lead repair and maintenance of craft, trailers, outboards, inboards, jet and propeller drive systems, and associated onboard equipment. Support testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, steering, and onboard systems. Coordinate workflow and provide hands‑on leadership to maritime maintenance personnel. Provide OJT to entry‑level military and civilian mechanics as required. Support reporting, readiness, quality, and safety requirements for the maritime maintenance mission. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of OEM‑certified mechanic experience with commercial outboard engines listed in the PWS. At least 1 year of aluminum and GRP/fiberglass hull repair experience for minor and major repairs. At least 5 years of troubleshooting/minor repair experience on inboard marine diesel engines identified in the PWS. Active Secret Security Clearance.
