Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department travel assignment in Hanford, CA. Start date: 10/26/2026 for 13 weeks at a short-term acute care hospital. Weekly pay: $2,110–$2,200 per week with guaranteed hours of 48 per week. Shift: Night shift on a 3x12 schedule (7:00 PM–7:30 AM).

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department using the established nursing process and critical thinking.
- Collect relevant data, assess patient conditions, and contribute to diagnosis and care planning; develop, implement, and evaluate a patient-centered plan.
- Administer medications, monitor for effectiveness and adverse reactions, and respond to emergencies or rapid clinical changes.
- Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team, supervise and direct the activities of associated nursing staff, and delegate duties as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families, participate in discharge planning, and promote a safe, healing environment.
- Document care and clinical findings accurately in the EMR and communicate pertinent information to the treatment team and involved disciplines.

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: RN licensed to practice in California (active). BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications required.
- Experience: At least two years of recent ER/acute care nursing experience.
- Education: BSN preferred; active RN degree from an accredited program.
- Additional: EPIC EMR experience required. Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment and on a night-shift schedule.
