Now Hiring: Litigation Paralegal | Hybrid | South Suburbs of Chicago, IL
A well-established law firm in the south suburban Chicago area is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with 5+ years of experience to join its team. This is a hybrid role best suited for someone who enjoys both litigation support and regular interaction with clients and municipal stakeholders.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $70,000–$100,000, depending on experience
- Bonus: Discretionary

Key Responsibilities
- Support litigation matters from inception through post-trial
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and related litigation documents
- Prepare medical record and billing summaries
- Conduct damages analysis
- Manage service of process, subpoenas, and deposition notices
- Draft Rule 26 disclosures
- Assist with arbitration and trial prep, including witness/exhibit lists and motions in limine
- Oversee discovery management
- Coordinate with expert witnesses and assist with expert retention
- Draft legal correspondence
- Conduct legal research
- E-file in state and federal court
- Manage deposition scheduling and attorney calendars
- Handle additional paralegal duties as needed
Qualifications
- 5+ years of litigation experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience drafting litigation documents, legal research, and discovery management
- Knowledge of state and federal e-filing
- Experience working with expert witnesses
- Paralegal certification preferred, but not required
