Physical Therapist (PT)

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical expertise and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a rehabilitation environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment for patients, including those recovering from surgery, injury, or illness.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility and quality of life.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility guidelines.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment programs and strategies for ongoing care.

Schedule

• Workdays: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• One Saturday per month from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a compensatory day off during the same week.
• Sunday work may be required for orthopedic post-operative care, primarily covered by other staff.

Holiday Requirement

Travelers will be expected to work 2 of the upcoming major holidays: Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. If the contract overlaps with only 2 holidays, you will be expected to work 1 of those 2 holidays. Please limit holiday time-off requests to 1 holiday only.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required.
• Must hold a valid Physical Therapy license in Pennsylvania or have compact PT licensure.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required.
• Ability to care for COVID-19 patients as needed.
