Office Manager

CNY Feeds, a family-owned feed mill located in Jordan, NY, is seeking a motivated individual to fill our Office Manager position. We have been in business for 30+ years, primarily serving regional dairy farms, and have a fantastic team of hard-working and committed individuals in Jordan, NY - about 10 miles west of Syracuse. About the role This role wears many hats. You will support our Controller with billing, manage office supplies and general office upkeep, and provide administrative support to our marketing and sales team as well as our company President. Expect variety. On any given day you might reconcile an invoice, restock the office, help prep a sales mailer, and manage the President's calendar or correspondence. There will also be ad hoc projects as needed, whether planning a company event or helping roll out a new procedure or technology. Qualifications Applicants must have prior experience in an administrative role, be a strong writer, be proficient with Excel , and bring extreme attention to detail. A college degree is not required. You should be comfortable on the phone speaking to customers and vendors in a pleasant but efficient manner. Effective time management and a sense of urgency to see tasks through to completion are essential, since you will juggle priorities across several parts of the business. Expect a productive workplace with friendly and interesting co-workers and high expectations. Cover letter welcome but not required.
