Job Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine through ABEM or AOBEM; ABPS Emergency Medicine board-certified candidates are also welcome
• At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience required
• Current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Ability to work consistent night shifts in a fast-paced emergency department
• Eligibility for appropriate credentialing and Virginia licensure

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care in a busy, integrated emergency department
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Perform critical interventions and stabilize patients for admission or transfer when needed
• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, hospitalists, and intensivists to ensure seamless patient care
• Support efficient patient flow during night coverage
• Manage a broad range of adult and pediatric emergency medicine cases
