Travel Registered Nurse Rehab Job

Overview
Registered Nurse – Rehab, located in Cumming, GA, travel assignment starting 06/29/2026 for 13 weeks, with 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 12-hour night shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) in a hospital-based Rehabilitation/Extended Recovery unit. Weekly pay range is $1,511-$1,608 per week.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on the Rehabilitation/Extended Recovery unit, including assessment, monitoring, and ongoing care planning
- Administer medications and manage IVs, wound care, and wound vacs as ordered
- Collaborate with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and other disciplines to implement and update individualized care plans
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and escalate as needed to the care team
- Document care activities accurately in the electronic health record and assist with discharge planning and patient/family education
- Ensure patient safety, fall prevention, and adherence to unit protocols and regulatory requirements

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Rehab RN experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) and adapt to a rotating schedule
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and eligibility to practice in Georgia
