Equity Research Sales Associate

Overview Our Equity Research Sales team markets Susquehanna’s fundamental research product and derivative content, providing our institutional clients with differentiated analysis and market intelligence. The Research Sales team is also responsible for the origination, development and management of the relationships within SFG’s institutional client base. At Susquehanna, we place a high value on education and development, especially for our early career hires. During the first year of your onboarding process into Sales, you will learn about our equity research, options theory and implementation, client management and engagement, as well as all aspects of the capital markets. You will gain exposure to financial analysis and derivatives strategy that will allow you to effectively communicate Susquehanna’s product to our institutional clients. Research Sales Associates will also earn Series7 and63 licenses and will be encouraged to begin the CFA curriculum. In this role you will Assist in marketing Susquehanna’s differentiated, fundamental equity research product and derivative content from a generalist sales perspective through daily morning sales calls, conference calls hosting corporate management teams and industry experts, internal analyst meetings and event marketing. Work with various internal groups, such as Research Analysts, Derivatives, Market Intelligence, Corporate Access, Sales‑Trading and Trading to assist with client requests. Help origination and onboarding of new derivative and equity accounts through a wide range of Susquehanna’s resources (Research, Market Intelligence, meetings and networking). Interact with company management and institutional investors and liaise with Senior Salespeople, Research Analysts and Associates, Corporate Access and Traders to help support the desk on regular ongoing client coverage. Spearhead various projects with an aim of improving efficiencies on the team. Gain exposure to some of the US’s most successful asset managers through the teams’ calls, dinners and events. Continuously find ways to utilize and implement artificial intelligence to improve and streamline daily workflows. What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in a field such as Finance, Economics, Engineering or Mathematics preferred, but not required. 0‑3 years of professional experience, 1‑3 years within Finance or Sales preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of our organization and our clients’ firms. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Excellent research, writing and organizational skills with a keen focus on attention to detail. Experience or willingness to learn intricacies and deep application of Agentic AI with a purpose of creating efficiencies, driving innovation and streamlining workflow. Resourceful, independent thinker and self‑starter who is motivated to excel in an evolving industry. Consistently displays energy, drive and the desire to excel. Passion for financial markets, derivatives and equities. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team environment (the team sits on our NYC Trading Floor) and multitask fluidly amongst various responsibilities. Open to a demanding schedule given the group’s fluid project and event roster. Will not require sponsorship now or in the future. We combine that with an in-depth understanding of listed options and market intelligence to provide a more comprehensive view of what is driving equity and derivative markets. We service the US institutional account base comprised of hedge funds, mutual funds, pension/endowment funds and family offices by impacting their investment process and helping enhance their performance. The annual base pay range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 + discretionary bonus + benefits.
