IT Help Desk Specialist

Salary: $36,920 - 46,363 per year Requirements:

• We require a high school diploma; an associate degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred.
• We look for at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• We require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
• We require candidates to live within 60 miles of our Bossier City, Louisiana facility and be available onsite twice per month.
• We require availability for any shift during our 24/7/365 hours of operation.
• We require completion of a paid 3-week training program held Monday through Friday, about 40 hours per week.
• We require a home office or quiet workspace, reliable high-speed internet, broadband with at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload, Ethernet access, and no satellite or Wi‑Fi-only connection.
• We require experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues across Windows and Mac operating systems, internet systems, and networking.
• We prefer familiarity with contact center management databases and prior ticketing system experience.
• We require successful background, credit, eQIP suitability, and skills assessments.

• We answer inbound service calls and self-service ticket queues for our client, providing accurate and helpful information.
• We assess, prioritize, and work through end-user issues to drive timely resolution.
• We use troubleshooting methods to address hardware, software, and network problems.
• We record incident updates and resolutions in our database tools.
• We investigate, isolate, and analyze issues using historical records and related data.
• We follow service-level expectations and maintain required customer service and documentation standards.
• We work within our contact center schedule during operating hours.
• We complete clerical and administrative tasks as assigned.
