Locums - Columbia, South Carolina CRNA Opening
Clinical Role
Seeking an experienced CRNA for a full-time locum assignment working within a Medical Direction Care Team model. Providers must be available every week and willing to rotate to ambulatory surgery centers as needed.
Assignment Details
Start Date:
November 9, 2026
Contract Length:
13 weeks; 6-month commitment preferred
Schedule:
- 36-40 hours per week
- 3x12s or 4x10s
- Must work 4 weeks per month; no part-time schedules
- Must work December 21-23 and December 28-30
- ASC rotation approximately once weekly, occasionally twice
- 50-mile radius rule; no local candidates
Clinical Details
- Medical Direction Care Team model
- Approximately 150 anesthetics daily across all locations
- Adult through geriatric patients; travelers generally do not cover pediatric cases
- General, GYN, orthopedic, urology, and vascular cases
- 31 ORs with approximately 25 utilized daily
- 9 non-OR anesthesia sites including MRI, CT, IR, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, and OB
- Level III Trauma
- Anesthesia tech support
- No regional or block skills required
- Epic EMR highly preferred
- Draeger anesthesia machines, GlideScopes, and Alaris IV pumps
Requirements
- Board Certified CRNA - Required
- Active South Carolina or compact license - Required
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS - Required
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Approximately 60-90 days for credentialing
