Accounts Payable Payroll Manager

SNI Companies is partnering with a rapidly growing financial services organization in search of an experienced AP/Payroll Accounting Manager . Reporting to the CFO and Controller, this role will oversee all accounts payable and payroll functions, manage a team of two, and play a key role in driving process improvements across the accounting department. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all accounts payable operations, including payment approvals and reporting Drive process improvements and streamline AP workflows to enhance efficiency and controls Oversee Positive Pay, ACH vendor audits, new vendor setup, and 1099 reporting Process payroll from start to finish for 50+ employees Record payroll‑related journal entries and maintain payroll reconciliations Administer corporate benefits programs and payroll‑related compliance activities Prepare W‑2s, manage garnishments, and process executive bonus payments Supervise and mentor a team of two accounting professionals Partner closely with the CFO and Controller on accounting operations and special projects Qualifications Prior experience managing both payroll and accounts payable functions Strong understanding of payroll accounting, reporting, and compliance requirements Experience with process improvement and implementing operational efficiencies Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop staff Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr Accounting Now
