Accounts Payable Payroll Manager

SNI Companies is partnering with a rapidly growing financial services organization in Dallas to hire an AP/Payroll Accounting Manager. This is a fully in-office position (5 days per week) offering the opportunity to play a key role within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience managing both payroll and accounts payable functions and enjoy working in a dynamic, small‑company setting where versatility is valued. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this position will oversee a team of two and serve as the primary owner of payroll operations while leading all accounts payable activities. The AP/Payroll Accounting Manager will work closely with the CFO and Controller to enhance processes, ensure compliance, and support the company’s continued growth. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all accounts payable operations, including payment approvals, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Oversee positive pay administration, 1099 preparation, vendor onboarding, and ACH vendor audit procedures. Process end‑to‑end payroll for 50+ employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Record payroll‑related journal entries and administer corporate benefits programs. Prepare W-2s, manage garnishments, and process executive bonus payments. Supervise and mentor a team of two accounting professionals. Partner with leadership to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and improve operational efficiency.
