In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for drivers and warehouse personnel, ensuring accurate load preparation, shipping documentation, and timely outbound operations.Shift Time: 9AM - 6PM, Monday to FridayIn This RoleCoordinate driver check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accuratePrepare and process shipping paperwork, including bills of lading, manifests, packing lists, and delivery documentsBuild and release customer orders in the warehouse management system to support outbound shipping operationsVerify shipment accuracy by reviewing order details, quantities, and destination informationCommunicate with warehouse teams, carriers, and supervisors to ensure efficient load scheduling and executionMaintain accurate shipping records and update system information as neededInvestigate and resolve shipping discrepancies in a timely mannerSupport inventory and shipping audits as requiredMaintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment while adhering to company policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualificationsUphold the Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands TeamBe open and honestReach for excellenceAct with responsibilityValue the whole personEnjoy the journeyThe Ideal Person1+ year of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse administration, or distribution center operations preferredHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperience working with shipping documents, including bills of lading, manifests, and carrier paperworkStrong computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other business applicationsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication and customer service skills when interacting with drivers, carriers, and internal teamsAbility to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working in a warehouse setting and occasionally walking the floor to verify shipments and loadsWillingness to work overtime as neededSteel-toed boots or shoes are required during work hoursHeadquartered in Austin, Texas, since 1996, Four Hands crafts furniture, art and décor — pieces that are all about creating space.
