This leader will be responsible for full site performance, including safety, production, quality, delivery, cost, and culture. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of turning around underperforming operations, building strong teams, and driving sustainable improvements. Experience in thick‑gauge extrusion is a significant advantage. Why join us? $175,000 - $200,000 per year depending on Experience Potential of 10% Bonus Room for Growth Excellent Benefits Bonus Potential Job Details Provide overall leadership and direction for daily plant operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards Lead plant turnaround initiatives, identifying gaps and executing action plans to improve performance across all KPIs Build, develop, and mentor a high‑performing leadership team and workforce Establish a positive, accountable, and engaged culture focused on teamwork, ownership, and continuous improvement Oversee production planning, scheduling, and workflow to meet customer demand and on‑time delivery goals Improve operational efficiency through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies Manage plant financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and productivity improvements Ensure consistent product quality and drive corrective actions when necessary Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, sales, and supply chain to support business growth Lead capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process improvements Monitor and improve key performance indicators, including OEE, scrap, downtime, and labor efficiency Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) 15+ years of manufacturing leadership experience Proven success in plant turnaround situations—stabilizing operations, improving performance, and rebuilding teams Demonstrated ability to build and sustain a positive, high‑performance culture Experience managing multiple extrusion lines and complex production environments Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L responsibilities Deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills Ability to lead change, influence teams, and drive accountability at all levels MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN UNION AND PLASTIC ENVIRONMENT Key Competencies Transformational leadership Operational excellence mindset Culture building and team development Strategic thinking with hands‑on execution Data‑driven decision making Continuous improvement focus What Success Looks Like Improved safety performance and employee engagement Increased throughput, efficiency, and on‑time delivery Reduction in scrap, downtime, and operating costs Strong, aligned leadership team and improved plant culture Sustainable operational improvements and long‑term growth Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
