Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Respiratory Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of previous experience required; at least 1 travel contract completed preferred License: Iowa state license required Certifications: License verification required Must-Have: - Draeger or GE ventilator experience required - HFOV experience required - Experience floating to PICU and NICU required - Driver's license required - Work history/resume required - Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required - One supervisory reference required at time of submission Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. This role includes the management of care for patients with respiratory conditions. The position involves collaboration with various healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective patient care and teamwork. A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development is expected.
