Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an occupational therapy education program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) or successor organization.
• Eligible to take, or has successfully completed, the NBCOT entry-level certification examination for Occupational Therapists. (Highly preferred).
• Licensed or otherwise regulated as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Iowa, or eligible for licensure under the Occupational Therapy Compact (Compact: TRUE).
• Maintain a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Card. Recertification as needed.
• Valid licensed driver with automobile insurance in accordance with state and organizational requirements.
• Mandatory reporter for child and dependent adult abuse.
• Minimum one year of experience caring for a similar patient population.
• Experience providing occupational therapy services in home health or similar settings, including home visits, environmental modification, and use of customary therapy equipment.
• Willingness to participate in weekend rotation as required.

Position Details

• Facility type: Home Health.

• Shift: Days. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
• Role involves making home visits, conducting interdisciplinary assessments, developing and administering individualized treatment plans, recommending environmental modifications, and overseeing use of therapeutic modalities and prosthetic devices.
