Travel Occupational Therapist

Make a meaningful difference as a travel occupational therapist with Jackson Therapy Partners! We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate occupational therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active state license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
• Two years of previous OT experience required.
• Driver's license required.
• Must have own vehicle.
• Must not have been an employee of the health system within the last 12 months.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday.
• Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• 40 hours per week.
• No weekend requirement.
• Coverage area includes up to 50 miles from Fort Dodge.
• Average travel is 200 to 250 miles per week.
• Weekly team meetings occur virtually, with monthly in-person meetings.
• Orientation includes general onboarding, online courses, Epic training, and ride-along shadow visits.
• Summer holiday coverage includes 1 to 2 of 3 holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.

Fort Dodge offers access to outdoor recreation and regional attractions in north-central Iowa. Brushy Creek State Recreation Area is about 20 minutes from Fort Dodge and features more than 6,000 acres for boating, fishing, and trails.
