We're looking for a Project Engineer to play a critical support role on our project management teams. This is an opportunity to grow your career, gain hands-on experience in the field, and learn directly from some of the most experienced leaders in the industry.What You'll DoAs a Project Engineer, you'll assist Project Managers and their teams in both the office and the field-keeping projects organized, documented, and moving forward. Your responsibilities will include:Project & Document ControlPrepare, process, and track submittals, change orders, proposals, RFIs, RFQs, ASIs, correspondence, transmittals, and daily logs.Maintain all project files and paperwork in an organized, timely, and accurate manner.Proofread, edit, and perform quality control checks on all project documentation.Field & Cost SupportAssist with pricing and preparing extra work.Process daily force account reports and update schedules.Collaborate with field teams to ensure directives are understood and followed, even in the absence of the Project Manager.Administrative & CoordinationPerform data entry into COINS or other designated databases accurately and on time.Handle daily administrative tasks (filing, copying, mailings, forms/spreadsheets).Research and recommend process improvements that enhance project efficiency.Support project teams by setting priorities and managing multiple tasks with independence and ownership.What We're Looking ForEducation/Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.4–6 years of industry experience or a Construction Management degree.Skills & Qualities:Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database systems.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Motivated, organized, and able to take ownership of tasks.Benefits That Work for YouHealth Insurance, 100% Paid: Liberty covers the full premiums for medical, dental, and vision.Retirement & Ownership: Stock options, 401(k) with 4% match, and profit sharing.Time Off That Fits Your Life: Vacation policy plus 8 paid holidays.Career Growth: Clear advancement opportunities with mentorship from senior project leaders.Leadership Coaching: Access to industry-leading psychologists for leadership and professional development.Learning Support: Educational assistance after probationary period.Why Liberty?At Liberty Electric, we believe in growing talent from within.
