At Amazon, the Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team is critical to Operations. As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician you will repair, maintain, and troubleshoot material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the facility. Key Responsibilities Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. Perform preventative maintenance routines and document all work. Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, and more. Maintain positive working relationships across all Amazon Operations facilities. Move up to 49 lbs, stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways, and perform regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching. Basic Qualifications 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications. 2+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. 2+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment. 2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics. 2+ years of demonstrating safety standards. 1+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of material handling equipment (MHE). High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls. Experience with MHE safety standards according to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and safety standards. Compensation USD 31.00 – 33.00 per hour.
