Make an impact! As a Heavy Equipment Operator at Tradebe, your role involves overseeing the movement and transfer of outgoing shipments at the designated plant for off-site disposal. This is more than just a heavy equipment operator role —you'll also pitch in across the plant, helping with drum handling, forklift operation, and other key support duties that keep the operation running smoothly.Key Job ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy equipment including backhoes, trackhoes, and forklifts.Follow all regulations, standards, and internal policies, to ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.Perform preventive maintenance and keep equipment in safe working condition.Assist with loading and unloading drums, roll-offs, and end dumps for off-site disposal.Open, process, and label waste materials in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow standard operating procedures with minimal supervision.Support area compliance and safety efforts, including documentation and reporting.Cross-train in other departments to support solidification and stabilization processes.Perform other duties as assigned.Do you have what it takes? High school diploma or equivalent required Experience with forklift operations Experience with backhoe, trackhoe, or other heavy equipment operations a plus One year of hazardous waste industry experience is desirable Working knowledge of DOT/RCRA regulations a plus The ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check, are required Ability to work the schedule for which you are hired for, work on-site and the ability to read, write, and speak EnglishWhat's in for you?
