About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Telemetry Duration: 6 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS Must-Have: Cardiac drip experience Description: Focus on major abdominal surgeries, plastics, ENT, and ortho. Nurse ratio is 1:5-6. Candidates should be open to floating, as required. Experience with busy, large-level trauma settings is preferred. Flexible scheduling is necessary; there is no self-scheduling available. Every other weekend requirement is mandatory. Experience with the EPIC charting system is required. Successful candidates typically have 3+ years of experience and previous travel experience. Candidates are encouraged to have worked in a very busy hospital environment in the past.
