Job Description:\n\n \n \n\nSUMMARY\n Account Managers manage, supervise, and coordinate the activities, at the field level, of all assigned Security Officers and execute all tasks related to maintaining prescribed standards in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures. Our clients range from Class-A Office Buildings, Luxury Residential Properties, Distilleries, Fortune 500 Companies, Financial Institutions, Telecommunications, Manufacturing/Industrial Factories, Hospitals, and many others.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n Other duties may be assigned:\n\n Maintains security operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image;\n Provides input to the development of service strategy and research and development of new and emerging services;\n Maintains accountability for ensuring successful implementation of new contract start-up, including personnel requirements, material, training, subcontract, facility, tooling, and equipment needs;\n Takes a proactive role in meeting client needs; meets with clients regularly, listens to issues, provides security and technical expertise, and offers solutions. Ensure complete customer satisfaction.\n Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met;\n Organizes operating activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum service and utilization of human resources and equipment; creates action plans around key problem areas and constraints;\n Reviews service and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, service, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent lost coverage;\n Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of assigned account operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving data for reports;\n Partners with Human Resources to ensure thorough training of all assigned employees in the area of client, company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations. Coordinates and/or conducts site-specific OJT, client-specific training, and annual refresher training for security personnel, as well as meeting corporate training standards;\n Meets all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime. Ensures that overtime costs are managed effectively within company targets.\n Reconciles security logs against shift responsibilities and patrols; reviews incident reports before submitting to the client and coordinates preliminary investigations;\n Performs account audits and off-hour visits, completing required documentation;\n Develops/maintains operational procedures so that valid, site-specific post orders are always available for reference by the security staff;\n Manages uniforms, equipment, supplies & vehicle needs at each client site; maintains inventory of equipment.\n Maintains responsibility for assigned account(s) and security personnel seven days a week.\n Although supervision is in place, the Operations Manager must be available via cell phone for emergency or placement purposes. All contacts/calls must be responded to promptly.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n Manages 1-5 subordinates who supervise up to 100 employees of said account/posts.\n Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the sites. Also, directly supervises approximately 100 hourly employees.\n Carries out supervisory responsibilities by the organization's policies and applicable laws. Goal- and detail-oriented.\n Initiative - Volunteers readily; Undertakes self-development activities; Seeks increased responsibilities; Takes independent actions and calculated risks; Looks for and takes advantage of opportunities; Asks for and offers help when needed.\n Innovation - Displays original thinking and creativity; Meets challenges with resourcefulness; Generates suggestions for improving work; Develops innovative approaches and ideas; Presents ideas and information in a manner that gets others' attention.\n\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE\nThe Account Managers must have a minimum of five years of specialized experience, including project development and implementation from inspection to deployment; expertise in management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms; and demonstrated capability in managing multi-task contracts or subcontracts of various types and complexity. \n The Account Managers must have a bachelor's degree in any field of study or have substantial and credible law enforcement, military, or business management experience which demonstrates the individual's capacity to effectively manage a large security force and contract equivalent to scope, magnitude, and complexity as described in this contract. \nQUALIFICATIONS\n To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\n Associate's degree and a minimum of two years of management experience in security or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n Microsoft Office software, eHub (preferred), and working knowledge of Internet programs.\n Valid State Driver's License, CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (if applicable). \n Valid Security Officer License if required by the state.\n State Armed License, Certification in the use of weapons if required.\n Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.\n Available as needed to meet business needs.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\n The Account Managers shall have complete authority to act for the Contractor during the term of the contract. The Account Managers shall have authority to accept notices of deductions, inspection reports, and correspondence on behalf of the Contractor. \n Responsibility for implementing and monitoring the Contractor's quality control and ensuring the Contractor's workforce complies with the contract requirements.\n Must be available at all times, by telephone or in person, to discuss deficiencies. After normal duty hours, on weekends, and holidays, the Account Managers shall be available within two hours. If an Account Manager is not available, or anticipates not being available, the Account Manager shall delegate authority of Account Manager to another individual to serve as the Account Manager and must notify the appropriate parties of delegation of authority.\n Communicates and coordinates any required Contractor support functions with the applicable support personnel as necessary.\n Coordinates variable coverage, extraordinary coverage, and special projects with Contractor support to ensure timely staffing.\n Responsible for timely and accurate investigations of security incidents as necessary.\n Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of safety occurrences, unfilled hours, and confirmation of extraordinary staffing requests.\n Works in conjunction with the CTS on any updates, maintenance, and distribution of General Orders, site-specific Post Orders, Supervisor's Manual, and Contractor guidance manuals.\n Provides executive written summaries for significant security incidents to include, but not limited to, issues of safety significance, security breaches or vulnerabilities, or as directed by the CTS or Contractor management. \n\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\n\n Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.\n Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos using the English language.\n Ability to write simple correspondence.\n Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees, or organizations.\n Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos using the English language.\n\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\n\n Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\n Ability to calculate figures and amounts with basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with accuracy.\n\nREASONING ABILITY\n\n Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.\n Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.\n\nCOMPUTER SKILLS\n\n To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems; Internet software; Inventory software; Payroll systems; MS Office Project Management software; intermediate to advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) software skills.\n\nCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS\n\n Current/valid state driver's license\n CPR/AED/First Aid Certification\n\nOTHER QUALIFICATIONS\n\n Available 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
