Assembly 2nd Shift

Job Title

This position is responsible for operating machines in a high-volume production area in the automotive manufacturing department. Hours: Second Shift 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM ET (subject to change if necessary)

Essential Responsibilities And Tasks

• Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
• Operates machinery in a high-volume production area.
• Loads/unloads small parts to and from machines.
• Inspects parts to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Performs preventative equipment maintenance as required.
• Abides by TS16949 processes and procedures as dictated by the Quality Procedures Manual.
• Recommends ideas to assist in the implementation of quality and improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
