Qmunity has served the 2SLGBTQIA+ community since 2013, offering programs, consulting, research, and engagement services that make a difference and build community. We’re a all‑volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit in the Silicon Valley, making a difference throughout California and beyond. Our Qmunity District is a welcoming, inclusive, and affirming place for 2SLGBTQIA+ in the South Bay. Reenvisioning Post Street from 1st to Market Street in Downtown San José, the District features shopping, dining, nightlife, and events, while focusing on queer art, culture, and history. A safer space for the Queer community, families, and visitors. We serve community and our meaningful work because of the generosity, passion, and support of volunteers like you! How You'll Help Welcome with Warmth Greet guests enthusiastically and help set the tone for a festive, welcoming evening. Support the Stars Assist performers and help manage the Meet & Greet flow so every guest enjoys a memorable experience. Guide the Glamour Help guests navigate performances, photo opportunities, and event activities throughout the night. Create Belonging Foster a safe, inclusive, and joyful environment for community members of all ages. Keep the Energy Glowing Support event operations to help ensure a smooth guest experience from arrival to the finale. What We're Looking For Friendly, dependable volunteers who enjoy creating positive experiences for others. Passion for community, inclusion, and celebrating diverse identities.
