Office Facilities Technician
Our client, a professional legal services provider in New York City, is seeking a dedicated Office Facilities Technician to join their team. As an Office Facilities Technician, you will be an essential part of the facilities management team supporting the smooth operation of the office environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and functional workspace, which will align successfully within the organization.
Location: New York, NY
Pay Range: $20
Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for overtime between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM
What's the Job?
- Assist with moving office furniture and heavy or cumbersome items to support office relocations and setup
- Perform light repair work such as spackling and painting to maintain office aesthetics and functionality
- Operate a cordless drill safely and effectively for various maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records and complete activity reports related to assigned duties
- Support office setup for new hires, conference rooms, and special events, including after-hours work as needed
What's Needed?
- 2 years of hands on experience in preventative maintenance and repairs in an office environment
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
- Physical ability to move furniture and perform manual tasks
- Basic skills in light repair and maintenance work
- Reliable and proactive attitude towards completing assigned tasks
