Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Pay Range : $20- $30 Per Hour Based on Experience

Overview

Our client in Bridgeville, DE, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their team in a full-time, long-term capacity. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing general ledger activity, preparing financial statements, and processing weekly payroll. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable working in a transitioning systems environment, as they migrate from Sage to Oracle.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Process weekly payroll using ADP, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
• Ensure timely and accurate journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain financial records in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Assist with the transition from Sage to Oracle financial systems, including data validation and process adjustments

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or similar financial role preferred
• Understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statement preparation
• Experience processing payroll using ADP preferred
• Experience with Sage and/or Oracle (or similar ERP/accounting systems) preferred
• Ability to manage weekly payroll cycles accurately and efficiently
• Ability to adapt to system changes and process improvements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting software
• College degree not required
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
