Part Time Lab Employee
GSU seeks a part time lab employee to assist with the following functions here at our headquarters!
Position can be up to 25 hours per week. Saturday hours required.
Responsibilities:
- Lab administration duties
- Daily checklists
- Supply organization
- Any other non-processing needs
- Accessioning
- Entering cases
- Scanning insurance
- Slide preparation
- Processing cytology slides
- Cover-slipping
- Slide organization
No certifications necessary but previous lab experience is helpful but not required. Computer skills are a must and working well within a small team environment. The employee will get first-hand experience working in a lab environment processing cytology, FISH and PCR (no COVID).
Degree in Biology preferred
