Position Summary The Corporate Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, analyzing financial data, and assisting with reporting requirements. The ideal candidate possesses strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and experience utilizing accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications to drive efficiency and accuracy. Prepare and maintain general ledger account reconciliations. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Analyze financial information to identify trends, variances, and discrepancies. Review and reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, intercompany accounts, and other balance sheet accounts. Assist with financial reporting and management reporting requirements. Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and data integrity issues. Support external audits and provide requested documentation. Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for key accounting processes. Utilize Excel and other Microsoft Office products to manage, analyze, and present financial information. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis as needed. Collaborate with operational personnel to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation opportunities. Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles. Experience using QuickBooks in a professional environment. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications. Experience performing account reconciliations and financial analysis. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
