Job Description As a Security Officer Armed - Day Shift in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Tue 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Wed 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Thu 07:00 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to customers, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, high-traffic areas, and merchandise zones for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, and report observations according to site protocols. Maintain readiness to perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements, using sound judgement and professionalism during customer interactions and incident response. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Level III Armed Security License is required in Texas only. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
