As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol - Financial Site in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more . As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a financial institution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help prevent unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and maintain control of a firearm while on duty. You will also interact with employees, visitors, and clients, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule Day Time Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible presence. Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures. Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or customers, providing assistance and information as needed. Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents, including those requiring an armed response, in accordance with Allied Universal training and site-specific guidelines. What We’re Looking For Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements Must possess an Armed Guard Card or License. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
