As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving and armed post, offering the chance to support people first through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, caring approach while responding to the needs of a dynamic environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sun 06:00 PM - 06:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with site post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter access points. Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential theft concerns, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate. Support access control and security-related incident documentation while maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter unauthorized or disruptive activity. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Level III Armed Guard Card is required in Texas. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
