Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon09:00 AM - 04:15 PMWed09:00 AM - 04:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and company policies. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or customer gathering points to observe and report suspicious behavior, theft-related activity, and/or trespassing concerns. Document incidents, assist with access control and/or crowd management, and communicate with local management and/or public emergency responders as needed. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Security license in Texas only. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
