Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will drive through assigned areas, conduct routine armed patrols, and remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 03:15 PM - 11:30 PM Tue 03:15 PM - 11:30 PM Thu 03:15 PM - 11:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to customers, staff, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential theft‑related concerns, and report observations through proper channels. Support store personnel during security‑related incidents, assist with access control and crowd management, and complete required documentation on daily activities, incidents, and/or observations. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Level III Armed Guard Card is required for Texas only. CPR/First Aid is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
