Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site Patrol in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and credential checks in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized access and orderly operations. Complete routine reports related to incidents, patrols, and daily activity, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate site representatives. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
