Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a retail environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or management when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or restricted areas while observing customer and employee activity for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and/or notable observations, and communicate clearly with site contacts, law enforcement, and/or Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
