Accountant, Senior Staff

Senior Accountant – Confluent Medical Technologies Responsibilities Manage periodic journal entries and reconciliations for assigned accounts, including leases, debt accounting, and prepaids. Administer Blackline user setup, month‑end and year‑end close tasks, journal entries, and reconciliation assignments. Perform intercompany transaction reconciliation and coordinate company eliminations for financial consolidation. Support compliance with regulatory requirements and implement new accounting standards and initiatives. Prepare and coordinate supporting schedules, footnotes, and documentation for external financial audits and reviews. Maintain the GL chart of accounts and map its relationship to financial statements. Support tie‑out of the financial systems such as Adaptive to EPICOR. Aid the accounting team in day‑to‑day activities, special projects, and workflow process improvements. Assist and mentor junior staff members, fostering their professional development. Other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred but not required. 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles with a focus on general accounting and external reporting. Working knowledge of Blackline tasks, reconciliations, journals, and Blackline administration. Working knowledge of GAAP and a strong aptitude for technical research. Familiarity with financial reporting systems and software such as EPICOR and Adaptive. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to convey complex financial information effectively. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated leadership abilities, including project management skills. High level of integrity and commitment to upholding ethical standards.
