Client Services Coordinator - Albany Office

Overview The Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York seeks a Client Services Coordinator to support attorneys by managing client intake, coordinating case logistics, and ensuring efficient service delivery. Responsibilities Client Intake & Case Coordination Conduct intake interviews and document client information. Determine eligibility and match clients with appropriate legal services. Coordinate with courts, attorneys, and pro bono counsel to schedule hearings and meetings. Prepare and submit grant reporting and case documentation. Administrative Support Maintain organized case files and databases. Provide clerical support for attorneys, including drafting communications. Assist in outreach events and legal clinics. Qualifications Experience 2+ years of administrative or secretarial experience; legal experience preferred. Proficiency with case management systems, databases, and Microsoft Office. Experience gathering detailed information and maintaining professional relationships. Skills Detail-oriented, multitasking, accurate, reliable attendance. Adaptable problem-solver, willing to handle reasonable overtime. New York State resident with reliable transportation; Notary public preferred. Professional Environment Office-based position supporting a professional law environment. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary range: $42,455 – $56,392, with placement based on experience.
