Job Title: Electronic Technician II
Location: Pleasanton, CA — Onsite
Job Type: Permanent
Pay Rate: $32.49/Hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Overtime: Hours over 40 paid at 1.5x

Job Summary

We are looking for an Electronic Technician II with strong electronics troubleshooting and repair experience. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment down to the component level and must have prior SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) experience .

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, adjust, and test electronic equipment.
• Diagnose electronic issues down to the component level .
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams .
• Use diagnostic equipment such as:
• • Oscilloscopes
  • Digital multimeters
  • Function generators
  • Power supplies
  • Other electronic testing tools
• Perform bench technician duties, including testing and repairing electronic equipment.
• Potentially support end users as a Service Technician , providing troubleshooting assistance by phone or email.
• Follow established safety, quality, and repair procedures.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of electronics troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Experience repairing electronic devices to the component level .
• SMT experience is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical/trade school or relevant trade experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand schematics.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, power supplies , and other electronic diagnostic equipment.
