Job Overview A law firm seeks a Healthcare Regulatory Associate with 2-4 years of experience in healthcare law to join its team in Boston. This role focuses on health innovation, representing companies from pre-formation to capital markets, including public health tech firms. Duties Advise on healthcare regulatory issues, including corporate practice of medicine and multi-state digital health practices. Handle federal, commercial, and self-insured payor reimbursement matters. Address value-based care and accountable care organizations. Navigate fraud and abuse laws, including Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state health privacy laws. Manage health data exchange and interoperability regulations. Advise on state healthcare transaction notification laws and AI use in healthcare. Requirements Strong writing and analytical skills. Superior organizational and project management abilities. Detail-oriented with good judgment. Client service-oriented and quick to learn new issues. Willingness to travel periodically to client events and healthcare conferences. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Skills Interest in technology use in healthcare, including AI, telehealth, and health apps. Experience in healthcare regulatory issues and compliance.
