Interested candidates should have at least a bachelor's degree or technical equivalent.Responsibilities of the Mechanical EngineerDevelop machinery utilizing up to 36 station rotary index tables using SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Autodesk InventorDesign systems to integrate technology such as ultrasonic welding using such brands as Dukane, Herrmann or Branson and pad printing from such brands as ITW TranstechUse Brute machine bases or similar to design and have your machines built in-houseBe a project manager to manage the timeline of your machine builds using MS Project or similar softwareDesign the fixtures and nests to be used with each processStay within budget for each project and be mindful of fiscal accountability for your projectsAlong with the Electrical Engineering team, incorporate safety guarding such as light curtains and other safety mechanisms into your designsRequirements of the Mechanical EngineerBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or technical equivalent is preferredMS Office proficiency including MS ProjectProficiency with AutoDesk Inventor, AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks is requiredThe targeted annual starting salary for this position ranges starts at $80,000.00 per year on the low range and salary will depend on experience and skillset levels.
